Miss Paul graduated from Troy State University, which is now Troy University, in May 2003. She earned a BA degree in History and Spanish. She spent a summer in Nicaragua working with Chosen Children Ministries, and she also worked for a year at El Meson Mexican Restaurant. Both of these experiences provided her with the opportunity to enhance her Spanish. In July of 2004, Miss Paul moved to Davao City, Philippines, where she taught at Mindanao International Christian Academy, an MK school for expatriate missionaries' and businessmen's children. She has returned to Chattanooga, where her family lives, to teach high school Spanish at Grace, and she is currently working on her master's in education.
