Grammar:

We will spend the month of August going over units 1 and 2 of our grammar workbooks. 

Literature:

We will spend the month of August going over genres and folktales. The students will have a folktale project due at the end of August.

Make sure you check Power School for all upcoming homework, projects and quizzes.

 

 

Grading scale:

20%     Homework --  I will drop the lowest homework grade each nine weeks.

30%     Quizzes -- Quizzes are done in class and students will be given at least a two day notice of all quizzes. They will also be on power school a week in advance.

50%    Tests -- There will be tests on the units we are studying in grammar and the genres we a studying in literature.  These will also be on power school at least a week in advance.        

*** I do not take any late assignments on homework or projects. *** The students understand that they can turn in their projects early or by 3:30pm on the day that it is due.
