Tennessee Education Savings Account Program

Grace Baptist Academy is qualified for the Educational Savings Account (ESA) program in the state of Tennessee. This program was enacted by state law to be offered to residents of Hamilton County. The fundamental goal of this legislation is to help qualified parents have the freedom to choose the school they desire for their child.

At this time, this program is only available for residents of the Hamilton County school district and also has household income level qualifications (see website below for more details on this requirement).

Furthermore, to qualify for this grant (2025-26 recipients received $9,747.48), your student MUST qualify in one of these ways:

  • Attended the full 2025-26 school year in a TN public school OR
  • Eligible for the first time to enroll in a TN school in the 2026-27 school year (going into Kindergarten OR just moved from out of state for any grade level and any school) OR
  • Attended the full year in a Tennessee public school in the 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 school years.
